Maybe that is a better option. You have no intial outlay and £150 goes straight to charity. 10 teams would mean £1500 for charity straight away. Assuming the club running it are going to host it for free.
Maybe there are other ways that the event could create more revenue for the charity? Raffles, sweepstakes, pay per view on TTR live?, control tyres that can only be brought from the trackside shop with profit going to charity? Control motros with the same idea?
How about Give every team a fund raising form with their entry pack before the event and see how much they can raise through their. We managed to raise about a £300 before we did a 24 hour race in belgium. Ten teams do that and it's 3000 pounds towards your charity.
There must be other ways of raising money other than just through race fees.
