Interesting mods I just got my TRF201 and I was already amazed by how it drove (I drove a Dyna Storm before this, so perhaps I'm easily impressed because the Dyna is 18 years older... but still).

Anyway, I'm really interested to see what you can come up with to improve the performance of the TRF201 further! Tamiya didn't seem keen to do something outrageous in the development stages of their buggy - and apart from a 4mm longer chassis, we still have yet to see something developed by Tamiya for the TRF201 that really sets itself apart from it's imperial-sized big brother. This is good chance to start that though!

So how about making a custom aluminium or carbon (plate) chassis for it that's +4mm in wheelbase? Much like the last DEX210 prototype and the production model, but using a lexan undercowl to reduce further reduce weight to the sides of the chassis.
