Hmm, I can't vote as I use both!
I think double sided sticky is strongest and neatest, but my transponders are velcro'd in as I have more cars than PTs!
My receivers are 50% using tape and 50% using velcro so I can swap them around cars.
So whilst my preference would be tape for everything, I don't use it for everything
