ok so i am rebuilding these shocks, rears done, slimed, new nortec whities and they seem ok.
Fronts are being done but one of the shock shafts seems to have a small nick in the metal. Its not massive but enough to rub away and cause a leak on the seals.
Can i wet sand the shaft with 2000 wet and dry to make it smooth enough, i know i can shell out £10odd for new shafts too but i wanted to test some stuff tomorrow pm if poss.
Got to say, as these shocks were bought built from Schuhmacher they are shocking (pardon the pun), do they not do any quality control ??? I would have stumped up the extra £20 and got the ansmanns if i knew these were this bad
