I've had the set up for around 8 month and it's just been used for general bashing / practicing. I'm running a CAT SX and I went to my first race meet 2 weeks ago. All was well but in the final the thermal cut out kick in and then this week in the first race it just gave up ...

With regards gearing I'm still really GREEN and it all seams a dark art , but I took a setup off the Schumacher web site:

Pinion 22t
23t Layshaft
33t Idler

Could this of caused the fault???
