I believe both those models are rated to 60A - it's only the software that may vary. I can tell you the Xtreme Stock is absolutely fine in a 2wd with a 10.5 in high grip conditions - the one I saw barely got warm, in a ballistic CR2 - too fast for the young pilot driving it. The LPF is a rebadge of the Xerun v2.1, which is similar in price to the Xtreme Stock, just a bit bigger.

I'd use the Xtreme Stock if I was going to use a stock motor with big timing boost (touring cars, mainly), but something with a few more amps and a modified motor without (much) boost otherwise.
