It's just mainly a difference in rear end geometry (wishbone length, driveshaft length, inner hinge pin spacing and rear hub camber link positions).

As for which is best there is as many prefences as there are drives as with all setup related items (personally I run an RB5 "WORLDS" rear end on my car, both mid or rear motored)
