I'm trying to anticipate what parts I'll need to complete a c4.1 without gutting my B4. I have most of the bits, but I fully expect there'll be a few fiddly parts I'll need, so would far rather have them ready than discover I'm short halfway through the build!
Anything with a (?) is uncertain, may or may not be included with the kit.
Screws:
Lots of these, mainly 4-40 sizes as per B4.1 manual. Possible use of metric on the chassis? Maybe some included?
Bearings:
As per B4.1 manual, note the metric outdrive bearings. Maybe CML will throw some in as Team Xtreme did?
Chassis:
Bulkhead
Top brace
Steering assembly and bridge
Servo mounts (?)
Bumper/skid plate
Suspension:
Complete shocks (f/r) plus bushings/spacers/screws/lock nuts
Front shock tower
Wishbones (f/r)
Caster blocks (f/r) - either B4.1, B4 or B44 usable in rear.
Steering knuckle and front axle
Hinge pins (inner and outer, f/r)
Turnbuckles and ball cups
Ball studs - as per B4.1 manual.
Rear CVDs (either B4 or B4.1, both suitable)
Conical axle spacer and roll pins
Diff:
Complete ball or gear diff (metric bearings on outdrives, previously mentioned).
Gearbox:
Slipper clutch and spur gear
Not sure about this - will check B4.1 manual. Will there be many custom bits for this, or just the extra idler gear?
Stuff possibly not needed/compatible:
Rear T-piece and hinge pin braces, anti-squat shims, rear chassis brace, wing mounts (?)
Stuff definitely not needed:
Chassis, gearbox case, shell, rear shock tower, motor guard
PDFs are currently inaccessible to me, broadband is at dial-up speeds

- I'm bound to have missed stuff, I'll add it to this post when prompted.
