On my phone so excuse the short sharp replies.
1: Schumacher white rallyblocks are the most common with Schumacher blue inserts. Any TC wheel. No cutting and shutting, no additive, no warmers.
2: Harris, Bish, Sleigh all use the standard ESC but use a faster motor currently unavailable. The std motor will easily make an A-main though, we are just power whores
3: RTR only, no roller. We all started with RTR, its ideal
4: Personally, CVD's front, turnbuckles obviously, cheap bearings for steering draglink from rcbearings. Front tower could do with carbon fibre upgrade. If running kit motor you need a 14t pinion in 48dp/0.5mod depending who you ask.
UkMicroRC has all the answers and top drivers on... plus me lol
Hope that helps?
Ps:
www.tracksidespares.co.uk is doing the GT14B cheap for a limited time

First Question: What is the deal on tyres and wheels for the National series? what are allowed and what work? I know nothing about wheel/tyres for anything other than 1/10th off road. Who makes the tyres/wheels? do they have inserts? are there different compounds? Are they TC wheels or unique to micros?
Second question: Is the ESC and motor in the RTR OK or do these have to be replaced?
Third Question: Is the TRT the way to go? is there not a rolling chassis version?
Fourth Question: Does anything need upgrading/replacing?
Cheers,
Neil
