When we ran our "DMS" spurs, with the AE pads instead of the Losi pucks (which were useless) then yes, no skip, little bit of slipper working initially, but lots of drive still.......
As for the blue belts a huge
from me, they were the worst ones by an absolute mile, lost their teeth regular, snapped often and skipped more than a bush kangaroo, it was yellow all the way for me (just make sure it was the wider XXX4 version and NOT the thinner XXXS Touring Car one - this may have been your issue with yellow belts).
