Precisely - at the end of the day WE are the ones who will have to foot the bill for all of this. Whether through taxes, insurance or increased prices - those that didn't loot themselves a new set of trainers and a widescreen TV are the ones who have to pay. Its not like you can fine those responsible cos they are all on benefits, so we already pay for them!

Worse still, the precedent has been set, its been shown how easy it is to do this. Here in Manchester, the video footage shows the 'rioters' were clearly organised with lookouts, ringleaders and flanking groups.

There were a lot of police out yesterday, and the shops shut early, but for how long? The smart trick is to wait a few weeks for things to die down, shops to go to normal time, police presence to reduce etc, then do it all again. Doing that there is literally no way to stop them under the current system.
