this is very cheap and surprisingly capable in a 2wd car. You'll want to upgrade eventually but it should do you well for some time.
However, sensored systems are better so
this which is a little more is worth considering.
Upwards of that you are really into separate esc and motors - in which case
this is a good cheap esc, and a cheap sensored motor to match in
7.5t,
9.5t or
10.5t. The motors aren't the best, but they work fine - the esc is as good as you'll ever need for a 2wd.
