Yes its me, but the shocks used were protos and are basically the velvet shocks that have recently come out. They also used Kyosho springs and oils but its in Japenese so you may struggle a bit. I will dig out this weekend and scan over to you.
Yes I had more droop but the top deck on mine in that picture is 1mm shorter than yours. Im rectifying at the moment as I have now gone 1.5mm longer and the belts too tight. Work in progress but I intend to have a taught belt with the tensioner attached so the one way is free and the front wheels spin without problems. I will post a picture of the L brace on the weekend.
Droop on the rear end of the ZXS is due to the longer shafts on the TRF511 shocks, and give more down travel which helps a lot. Front have a lot even though it doesnt look much but then again the kick up plate hides the true amount of height. Have you driven it yet?
You will find on clay / dust the overall design width is fine and is better than a YZ10 as proven when this was the car that beat the current worlds master Masami for the Japanese natts title and he was running the YZ10. But if your using on high grip like astro turf you need to add substantial weight around the gearbox and widen the front hexes by almost double the width (almost), and the rear end is the standard width as this give more stability on the front and makes the rear end more user friendly so tends to follow the front when you through it into a corner.
On carpet I just cannot get a good setup for it to be driven fast as it over grips and rolls, no matter how many rows you cut off the front and rear and the roll bar doesnt work no matter how hard or soft it is (Dan Greenwood can vouch for that)the car is just stupid as I get unbelieveable steering with the mildest castor blocks and I like twitch city with my cars already but this is in another dimension and I cant drive it for front end grip roll I get with mini pins, hence why I use mini spikes. The Tamiya shocks have helpded drastically compared to the Kyosho, Associateded and Traxxas TRX1 shocks so would recommend buying a set and going from there.
Hope this is of use to you matey.
