I use and used AE springs on 201
front shocks they works fine, and are just a little bit shorter than Tamiya ones.
On my fronts i used AE brown that are the same as Tamiya brown (2.80 lb/in) and AE Green that are the same as Tamya Yellow (3.50 lb/in) with good results.
Never tested AE springs on rears.
Impossible to say witch spring is best it depends on the track type and condition.
