Surely the point of the interclub is to find the best team and race at the best venue? There are only 2 permanent outdoor tracks with proper features and one is "under the weather"? I enjoyed the regional at preston park and can understand the amount of work that goes into getting it up and running, but why go to all the trouble when there are better (no dis-respect the the Teeside boys) venues already available? I realise that it's a long haul from one end of the N/E to the other (guess I'm luck living in York) but if you can't be arsed to drive a bit, don't bother and make way for the drivers that want too!
