Best bet is to send out a cv about your racing to as many manufacturers and distributors as you can, you could include references such as your club chairman, regional rep or sponsored drivers that you already know.

It's like applying for a job, you need to sell your self to them and perhaps look at it more in the way of what can I offer a sponsor rather than what can they offer me.
