you can limit the power using the speedo anyway so dont bother with changing wires, just turn the timing and punch down using the program card
personally i am using loong 4500 batts, 6 cell on 1400kv heli motor, it goes really well, not over powerful like some, but plenty fast enough for me. dont know what run time in a race, but managed 35 mins on local track last year. motor is only 1600w, looking at the specs of some motors out there and some are 2500w or more!
