I've read that the diff screw isn't that great and should be replaced and I'm going to get ball races from the start.

Anything else I need to think about?

Cheers.
I have found that the pinion it quite good and the diff screw on some kits may need a little dremalling after its been setup..

spares:

rear shock tower
front lower nose cone
front upper deck
caster blocks - if used with longer ball studs & nuts will last longer
rear hubs - if used with longer ball studs & nuts will last longer

hope this helps
