While I could say that you should save up more money and get a Futaba 4PL or a Sanwa MT4 I will not as they are over your budget. The Spektrums are made of a very nasty plastic that gives the impression of a cheap toy. Pity, as they are not that far behind the others in terms of what is on the inside as they are with build quality.
What I would recommend you take a look at is a second hand Futaba 3PK. If you are lucky you might even find a 3PKS with a 2.4 GHz FASST module for not much more than £100. If not, FM 40 MHz still works. It actually works better today than ever before as almost nobody else uses it. This leaves you with more available frequencies and less interference. The 3PK-family (3PK, 3PKB and 3PKS) really is that much better than the 3PM family for only a symbolic price premium.
