the spektrum must be a great radio, many people like it. I tried it once and I dont feel comfortable with the trigger and the wheel. And the trigger had much side to side play... which isn't important but sanwa for example don't have play.
I would recommend to try some radios before you buy one. But I would prefere to take a new cheap radio instead of an old used top radio.
I would try futaba 3pm x, sanwa mx3 ..
