Tony - you are using this to go through the steering blocks from top to bottom aren't you? I mean to replace the top and bottom king pins in the steering blocks and not to replace the king pins that are used to hold the caster block in the wishbone?

I found I actually had to slightly enlarge the holes in my steering blocks where the old king pins had tapped a thread so that the pin could move freely as it is held by the upper and lower lock nuts.

I fitted mine last night and had no problems with slop - quite the opposite in fact.
