Simple tip for easier small droop adjustments: build the shock with an extra 1mm spacer on the inside, then unscrew the shock end 1mm before you put it on the car. Then for small adjustments in droop you can simple screw the shock end completely on (shorter shock, less droop) or an extra mm out (longer shock, more droop). I wouldn't run the shock unscrewed much more than 2mm, but this really helps make small adjustments quick and easy.
