It's not easy...

Agreed on DRS! More overtaking yes, but it's a bit to "artificial" for my taste. The tires give more realistic overtaking, but often there the difference in grip is so high making also those overtakes a bit silly...

The best thing for wheel-to-wheel racing would be rules more similar to GP2 or INDY with standadized cars & engines. Plus maybe a "power to pass" (as used in Indy), where both the attacker and defender can press their buttons - it's more about using it wisely. But we need cars of course with much higher performance, similar to the current F1 cars. Would also reduce costs massively.

But the problem is that F1 is the pinncale, and is "supposed to be" free'ish...

But does the fans really care? As long as they are as fast as today, look the same... who cares really? I can live without the constant upgrading & development... I want to se ALL teams and racers battling for the victory in EVERY race!!! I really feel sorry for all those great drivers stuck in a crappy car! Imagine all the cost & hard work to get into F1... and then...

Development? All teams could work together on next year's platform, and develop fuel saving / hybrid systems and so on...

And the only thing I'd love to downgrade is the brakes! Use more std. material = get hotter = longer brake distance >> lots of overtaking possibilities!!!
