I'm assuming you're applying throttle while steering. Try raising your front arms to the point where the shafts are level, and apply throttle while steering. Does this increase or decrease the grinding? If the grinding decreases,your cvd's may be binding when the front suspension is at full droop. Adjusting the shock mounting positions, adding internal shock limiters, and/or adjusting the steering end points could help. Just a thought.
