The original chassis and the Squared are quite different, although the results are quite similar. If I had an original 6, I would simply begin running the new smaller stick pack across the back -- while we've not tried it on an original chassis, I think it would fit well.
If I had an original 6 and was determined to run saddle LiPo, I would do a bit of grinding on the chassis and it should fit just as well as it does on the Squared.
B.T.W. If you wanted to try the saddle you could get a second chassis -- I believe D.M.S. has 'em -- and then have two, one for saddle and one for the small stick.
