The Durango is a good car but has a few niggles that could catch people out if they aren't aware of them. And right out the box is a car that needs a fair bit of work to get going right along with a few "optional" parts that have become standard kit, like the ball cups and diff rings. Support from Team Durango though is very good.

The new Cat SX3 looks to be good to go straight out the box(as long as you get the CF version) but as its still very new to market there aren't as many hints/tips and setups available.

The associated B44 factory team kit would probably best fit your needs, its fairly race ready right out the box, is well established and parts are a breeze to get ahold of. its also apparently a good car to get to grips with when first returning to driving
