4wd off road. Grasstrack. Im currently running a Losi Excellorin 6.5t motor. Looking at that orca combo above seems like a very good option. The problem i have is that the car wont run unless i give it a push then its off, soon as i stop i need to push it again. The esc i have is a Orion vortex, bought second hand. Its never completed a race yet. It overheats, so i stripped it down to find the thermal matting was covered in grit and was not making contact with the heat sink. I cleaned that all up and have put thermal grease on it and put it all back. Tried it for the first time last night where it was fine for 3 mins then game over. Still over heating and also this non running without a push fault. Dont 100% know if its the motor as well as the speed controller tbh.
