Just as a strong bit of advice, grab yourself some basic spares second hand. Anybody who runs 1/10 off road will tell you, there is nothing worse than your day being cut short by breakages.
When you first get going expect a few dings (or in my case always lol)
If you can find the following they will be much needed and you should be able to carry enough spares to fix most basic breakages for about 30 quid
Front arms
Front castor blocks
Front shock tower
Spare diff parts
Rear bearing carriers
Selection of imperial cap head and counter sunk screws
These will really help when you make an unexpected contact with imovable objects and track furniture
