Great days craic @ DMCC on Sunday as expected, despite the weather. Hope Colin's gazebo dried out!
The track was a lot tighter than I remember before at Lucan, but IMO very enjoyable to drive, especially when it (briefly!) dried out in Q2/Q3. 22 racers was a good sign to me too, bearing in mind the weather and a few unavailable on the day for other reasons.
It's a sign of the times when racers are amazed at needing to clean their cars after a heat. Makes the green astroturf fluff a bit of a non event after the muck that built up on the cars at the weekend!
My car was delighted to meet up with old friends again too - not sure how many previous owners it had racing on the day!
