Mr Magoo is trying a setup i have been playing with and a few of us have been running in durango's at the local club with nothing blowing up so far! Seems very smooth and loads of speed
We all have 6.5 motors and run 21-23 pinions with
standard spur. Software is SP110323 stock and is on hobbywing and sp 120amp speedos. I don't think you can use the turbo functions on a 60 amp with low turn motors. Anyway the setup i use is below if of use. I doubt it is perfect, but appears to be a safe ish place to start, but you can't hold me to that
Main points are
1. Running Mode - Forward Only With Brake
2. Drag Brake Force - 0
3. Low Voltage Cut-Off - Not sure, possibly none
4. DRRS mode - 7
5. Maximum Brake Force - 75%
6. Max reverse force - 25%
7. Initial Brake Force - 0%
8. Neutral Range - 6%
9. Boost Timing - 15 degrees
10. Turbo Slope Rate - 12°/0.1s
11. Over Heat Protection - 95 degrees
12. Turbo Timing - 10 degrees
13. Boost Start RPM - 8000
14. Turbo Delay - 0.2s
15. Boost Timing Acceleration - 400 RPM / Deg
Planned tweaks are reduce 15 to 350 and maybe 13 to 6000 or 7000. Maybe reduce ddrs and up boost a little.
