You were just advised from guys with experience to go for the Hobbywing, i would take the advice if i were you
I know of a few guys running Hobbywing 1/8th electric gear & they rate it very highly
Best i can see is £74.90 on ebay for the 120a with free p&p,pick up a good used 2nd hand brushless motor..job done
