After this weekends worlds warmup I have a few things...

With all weight kits being made, I see most of them placing the weight low down. I put 20 grams in the end of my battery compartment by the gearbox(Rearmotor config), as most setups use some weight behind there, but mostly in the not so roomy place just on top of the gearbox behind the tower.

After chatting a bit with Dyno-Dan, he convinced me to move it up on the gearbox, since this car has such a low COG and is so narrow.

Maaaan. It was a revelation. I took away my 20 grams, and put 15 of them on top of the gearbox, and the rear end was so much more locked in, I barely could believe it.

Also, another great place to put a little weight, is to put 2x5 grams just behind the front bumper, stuck on the hinge pin brace. Makes it easier to keep the nose down on those big jumps.

The rear weight kit for the mid motor fits brilliantly for the rear motor btw, just cut off the piece that usually goes down the back of the mid gearbox. The you have a bolt on weight on top of the box. It then weighs in at 30g, but I'm planning to cut off a bit more.

Another good tip is having the bottom caps on the dampers as loose as you can, it frees up the damping a bit. Look out for the new black low friction O-rings.
