If they was to post Closed, there would be 10 people asking why, 5 people saying the place is closing down etc etc....

That again comes down to communication - We will be closed the following days due to building work......

As you have posted below from the MA website: NORMAL opening hours, this does not state strict opening hours.
Believe me when i say that things can be much better, and they are the first to agree. But, if the place was built just for us racers then it would not be on such a scale.

The motor arena is a corporate hospitality venue, who also cater for racers. This weekend was a normal weekend for most of us.

There is much more to the business model and your post at the bottom is my point. Putting such things as they won't be open long etc will make people ask why etc, then rumours start.......

People can see why, the MA's busiest day (apart from main events) is a Tuesday evening when it's off road night.I'm not starting any rumors, just stating what I see, and yes i'm also happy to say it to whoever at the motor arena not just on this forum.

I for one think the MA is an awesome venue, and I hope it is still there is 10 years time, and i've also done my fair share of sticking up for both the venue and the people who work there.

It would be much better if people where to post things they would like to see at the venue etc.... they will be read and spoke about.

We have, and I for one started the first thread about an off road night at the MA. http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54642

This is the first business of it's kind in the UK, there will be issues. But i am sure most people start off slow at new jobs etc.... Give them a chance.

I'm not having a go Jon, it's just frustrating that such a great venue seems the be struggling and making repeated mistakes.

It's fair to say that things are getting better, however there seems to be the odd blip. Hopefully things will continue to improve and with you working at the MA doing what you do i'm sure we can look forward to some good events.
