Cheers for reply Dalla, I think the reality may well be that as less people run them due to the tried and tested makes being number one choice, the feedback on the lesser used makes will always be a bit negative.

It's kind of the same as ansmann, whilst a good few people use them and race them, the general perception of them is that they break alot, unless you upgrade them.

My first rc car, a year back was a 4wd nitrotek buggy jobby, only used it for bashing at the time and to be fair the only breakages I ever had with it were purely due to me parking the buggy into the kerbs.

I suppose as long as spares are readily available for the Caster then there's no reason why I couldn't take a chance in the future, even moreso if I can get it for a good 2nd hand price
