I think the first RC car I had was something from Tandy or woolworths or somewhere, it was called a winch, little red jeep thing with a winch on the front.
My first proper car was a Tamiya Fox, then I also had at the same time a Mardave Mini Stock which is were I got my first taste for racing.
Then I had a Clodbuster, then they sort of got forgotten as Motorbikes and girls sort of got in the way
