Fluoro colours work by showing the background colour through them to give them the intensity. So in most cases white. Therefore it's critical that you do the same amount of coats holding the airbrush / stray gun at the same distance with the same air pressure.

That said it could be a different batch of paint, they do often vary. You could always do a spray out on a spare piece of Lexan and keep it as a colour chip, then if you do another one you have something to match it to ?

To be honest I'd just go with it and not worry too much, it's a custom paint job, by hand, not factory, therefore these things are part of it.
