I might be compeletely wrong, but seem to remember a while back that there was talk around how carbon parts tended to be on the whole more brittle than their stock plastic counterparts? something around a difference in flex between the two?

I've got a whole load of carbon on my slash, and managed to do in a rear body mount/post a while back - switched back to the stock plastic part and fine ever since.
