I never actually said it wasn't an accident.
My main issue was the footwear if you read the post correctly, obviously having something broken like a servo is the minor part. If I had hit your foot it would have been a different matter. We may not have just been dealing with a broken servo.
But as shaun said, I was going round all the carnage. If anything you had your back to the traffic coming down the straight so didn't know where the other cars were going to go.
But anyway, the main point is footwear. Best to be safe. its basically like someone throwing two bricks at your ankles at 40mph! I know what I'd rather be wearing.

Two broken gears in a servo are nothing compared to broken ankles. So I think appropriate footwear, and more observant marshalling, as there were a few that weren't watching the section of track in front of them.

We need this series to work, and safety is going to be a
major factor if we want people like the BRCA to take notice and take SC serious.
