Was a good close race up till that point though and pretty happy with the car for teh first time outdoors in the dry, shame it may be the last

Noooooooooooooooooo!!!

be such a shame if it will be the last...at least you will have car to fall back on if things dont go to plan!!
On the car.. best way is to mesh it all up ive found is to do it without the center shafts in the car.. i rebult Colin Mays gearboxes on saturday, diffs etc and did it this way and added another 0.2 in there

sometimes you get abit of forward and backward play in the shaft the crown gear goes on.. also ive had this shaft wear where the bearing is seated which causes play and chews the gears.. ANother tip.. all the screws that hold the gearbox top on, 6 i think.. just nip them up tight.. ive found if you over tighten it can cause abit of drag and it doesnt run as free..
What happened at EPR? i guess your chassis went?? accross the front (by the front rear hinge pin holder??) or by the rear hinge pin screw holes?
Stick with the K Ellis.. you know it makes sense! lol!!
