A countersunk screw measures its length from the top of the head to the tip of the thread. A button-head screw measures its length from under the head to the tip of the thread. If you put them side-by-side on a ruler as above, they are not the same overall length.
IMHO, there is nothing wrong with either of them. Admittedly neither website tells you how they measure their sensor lead lengths, but there's nothing wrong with their rulers.  |
