hi guys ive got a scrt today
and ive had abit of trouble already! The esc is overheating and the auto cut-off is kicking in, ive got a 5000ma lipo and 540 5.5t ezrun motor and the ezrun 60a esc . It runs it for about 2 to 3 minutes and then overheats the esc
I've read its because the scrt is alot heavier than normal 1/10ths like my mad rat and it causes the motor to work harder and pull more amps. I don't have the cash to buy a new motor and/or esc atm so looking for a solution for this.
Is it posable to gear it down, I dont mind losing some top speed, just as long as it doesnt over load the motor and cut out every 2 minutes?
