The B4/T4 transmission is well capable of handling that system. Just tighten the slipper until it almost wheelies on a hard take off. A slipping slipper squeals, a slipping diff barks.

You might need new slipper pads, I'm told they can become 'glazed', which you can scuff off with sandpaper, if you're careful.

If the diff is a bit rough, its time to rebuild with ceramic balls (available from many places) - I strongly recommend you get someone to show you how to do it the first time!
