Personally I like the hump before the corner and has helped me no end in grasping jumping better, which in turn has helped me racing at other tracks.
You just got to be patient and learn etc. It's taken me a while to grasp jumping and it is a skill worth developing.
I have to say it should stay.... This is just my view.
