Make sure you haven't hit the throttle kill switch on the transmitter. I think it is the toggle switch on the front right of the transmitter.

Best to way to test it is that is to swap the servo and speedo plugs around on the receiver. If you turn on the car try the throttle stick and see if the servo moves, if not then flick the toggle switch and try it again. When you get the servo moving with the throttle stick swap the plugs around again and hopefully it will be working again.

My dad has a core transmitter and I spent a whole club night trying to work out why his car wouldn't work despite it getting power to the servo. That switch was the culprit.
