I am guessing that John will be organising a couple of practice slots for each team in the morning and then a couple of qualifying (six-minute) heats to decide the grid. In good Le Mans tradition, he'll have one of his 'rental' cars dolled up as the course car, and we'll be rolling round to start racing at 15:00 (we're an hour behind France!).
I hope that he will use any excuse to deploy said course car for us all during the race; "Oh look, there's a corner marker 2mm out of place - lights on!!"
It's good to see that most teams will be taking a friendly attitude towards the faster and slower cars. Team Doris are all National racers with much practice in the fine arts of passing (
) and the benefits to everyone of letting the faster cars go. To finish first, you must first finish.
