A very firm NO from me for those kind of settings.

They are a trap - you think you are making the car easier to drive, but actually you are dulling it's responses. The best way to slow down the cars reactions is to slow down your thumbs.

I use nothing beyond the sub-trim, end-points, rates and expo on my transmitter.

The benefits of a quality transmitter are not the long list of features - it is the quality itself!
