Default "Speed" or "punch" radio function necessary for racing?
Shopping for a new radio...was wondering if the "speed" or "punch" seetring/acceleration are really handy for racing or just a gimmick!?

Radios i'm looking into...

Futaba 3PM-X(WO "speed" function but has FASST technology)

Futaba 4PL(W/ "speed" function but lower end FHSS tech.)
