Seems to me a lot of people are in for a bit of a surprise, just how steady and smooth you have to drive for a 24Hr race, how unexciting endurance can be compared to 5 minute sprints, it's the long game you are in for, no use blasting around and fighting for position if you are off track for ten minutes fixing your car!!
People will be courteous to other drivers, I know I will, anyone comes charging upto my bumper will be given the next corner smartish, I don't want to be in the pits repairing the damage you did to me car either! I'll pass you again when you hit the next car that doesn't give way.
It's all about smooth driving for maximum run times and reliability, idiot proof battery changes, smooth efficient car built properly and carefully, good planning and team effort.
Oh and coping with adversity when it pops up and bites you in the arse!
