I agree, and let's face it, even getting into this class from scratch isn't that expensive, and from someone that races electric 1/10th it would cost:

£370 - Roughly for a new kit.

And you already have batteries from racing 1/10th, so its probably a lot cheaper than going into nitro as on top of kit price you would have the engine to buy.
I do understand it would be a little more expensive for a nitro racer to go into the electric side but not much more than you would pay for an engine for the new season.
