I bought it some weeks ago and love it. The two parts are really nice machined pieces with an excellent fit. The main advantage is probably that it is super clean to mount, no need to seal or re-adjust the gearbox housing and easy to demount when rebuilding diff etc. The plastic ones in mine had always gaps or bad fit. I recommend it if you want to spend the money, but it is not absolutely necessary...
